Infraganti
INFRAGANTI is not just a pizzeria; it is a declaration of love for Neapolitan pizza. Raquel Perramon and Gonzalo Infante, with a palpable passion in every word, tell us their vision: to make the best pizzas in Alicante, Elche and Murcia, using a clear and forceful philosophy. They do not seek to copy the flavours of Naples verbatim, but to reinterpret their essence with local products, zero-kilometre raw materials, and an almost reverential dedication to quality. Each ingredient has a story, a provenance that honours small local producers and transforms each pizza into a genuine and unique experience.
From the outset, it is clear that INFRAGANTI is not just any old project. It's not about opening a simple chain of pizzerias; it's about creating something with soul, with identity, with that special ‘something’ that makes people not only eat a pizza, but remember it.
The name says it all: INFRAGANTI. A word that evokes surprise, discovery, even a touch of mischief, as if finding this pizzeria were like discovering a hidden treasure. And, like a good Neapolitan pizza, the design should be simple in appearance, but with layers and details that reveal its depth as it is explored.
The brief: Tradition with an unexpected twist
We were asked to design something that captures this vision, something that speaks of tradition and authenticity, but that also surprises.
INFRAGANTI's premises are a visual and sensory spectacle. Upon entering, the large phrases on the walls immediately catch the eye, while the small details, such as the menus and menus, offer a handcrafted design that connects with the zero-kilometre philosophy. It is a space that invites you to linger, to enjoy, to discover.
At INFRAGANTI, the whole design is an extension of the love for good pizza and the good life. It is a tribute to the authentic, to what really matters, but with a fresh, mischievous twist that surprises and delights. It is design, like pizza, made by hand, with perfect ingredients, and designed to leave an impression on those who enjoy it.
INFRAGANTI's identity does not stop at graphics; it permeates everything. From pizza boxes to aprons, stationery and signage, every detail is designed with the same dedication that Gonzalo and Raquel put into every dough that goes into the oven. Even the website becomes an extension of this experience, with a simple navigation but full of personality, just like the pizzas they present.
The concept of ‘homage’ becomes our compass. Homage to classic Italian typography, that which decorates the signs of trattorias and bakeries that seem to stand still in time. Homage to the wood-fired oven, with its red-hot iron, which here is transformed into a circular logo, evoking both the shape of a pizza and the heat that turns it into an edible work..
The logo, inspired by hot iron, is a circle that represents both the oven and the perfection of a well-made pizza. It has strength, but also warmth. It does not seek to be simply a symbol; it wants to be an emblem, something that customers will remember every time they think of that unique experience of eating a pizza like never before.
Phrases take centre stage. ‘AMOR A PRIMERA PIZZA’, “BURRATA, COME STAI?”, “PECORINO”. These words, printed in large print, decorate the walls of the premises. They are statements of intent, small fragments of conversation that connect with customers and immerse them in the INFRAGANTI universe.
The identity: Typography, phrases and fire
The heart of the design is in the lettering. We created a custom typography, with vertical shapes and a retro feel, that captures the Italian essence but with a contemporary twist. These letters are not just text; they are personality. In them lives the passion for pizza and tradition, but also a nod to modernity and the spirit of surprise that defines INFRAGANTI.
