Oliquida
The Caviaroli company, a product known for revolutionising the use of olive oil (oil in caviar format), commissioned us with their new project that aimed to capture the essence of an innovative product. Their new launch, a unique sauce (conceived by Albert Adrià) based on olive juice, with three different versions: Original, with piparras and with chipotle. This product, designed to enhance salads, rice and other dishes, had to reflect both its innovation and superior quality.
The brief was clear: develop a brand identity and packaging that would be as distinctive as the product itself. Our starting point was the naming. OLIQUIDA not only defines the product, but evokes the purity, fluidity and essential character of olive juice in its most liquid and versatile form. This name became the conceptual core of the entire design.
Our proposal focuses on a typographic solution that brings both simplicity and sophistication. On the bottles and boxes, the capital O becomes the protagonist element, functioning as a visual totem that instantly captures the attention. We designed this letter with a classic and elegant three-dimensional typography, which not only reinforces the feeling of a premium product, but also refers to the care and craftsmanship behind its production. The three-dimensionality of the lettering adds depth and a visual playfulness that stands out on any shelf.
The overall design maintains a clean and refined aesthetic, where the focus is on the O and the small details that differentiate each variety (Original, piparras, chipotle) through chromatic subtleties. In this way, we achieve a coherent and memorable visual identity, capable of standing out both in gourmet shops and in more everyday environments.
OLIQUIDA is not just a product; it is a statement of the versatility of olive oil in a new way. Our design seeks to reflect this idea, offering a visual identity that combines innovation and tradition, lightness and character. It is a project that, from the name to the packaging, flows with the same elegance as the product itself.
