Últim Adéu
L’últim Adéu is more than just packaging; it is an emotional bridge designed to accompany one of the most difficult moments in the funeral process: cremation. Created for the company En el Record S.L., this object represents a unique opportunity for those who could not say goodbye in life, offering a tangible and meaningful space to express what was left pending.
The packaging design is conceived with a deep sensitivity towards the act it symbolises. The box, completely finished in white, is a canvas of purity and silence, interrupted only by reliefs and dry strokes that subtly hint at the contents. On its cover, a die-cut sleeve in the shape of a fingerprint becomes a universal symbol of identity and connection.
Whatever is inserted into the box - letters, photographs or personal objects - visually transforms this cover, allowing the contents to be partially visible through the die-cut and making each box a unique and personal object.
Inside the box, a carefully designed set of tools invites the user to leave heartfelt messages: a pen, envelopes and letters provide the physical medium to channel emotions and words that would otherwise be trapped in silence. This object is not only functional, but deeply therapeutic, allowing those who use it to find emotional closure in a time of loss.
The Last Adieu is not just an object; it is a ritual in itself. Its minimalist and symbolic design respects the intimacy of grief, offering a poetic and dignified way to say goodbye. It is a reminder that, even in absence, there is always space to connect, express and heal.
